Adams Elderberries produces huge clusters of large, sweet, purplish black berries. Used for pies, jams, preserves, juice and wine. Productive, hardy and easy to grow. Not bothered by insects or disease. Tolerates wet locations, grows in any soil in partial shade or full sun. Elderberries are partially self fruitful but you will increase production by having a second variety. Ripens about August 1.
